At Dreamers Childcare & Preschool, we care for all children from 6 weeks through 6 years with the warmth and attentiveness families often associate with a small, home-based program—because even as we’ve grown, we never wanted to lose that personal feel. We’re proudly non-corporate and family-founded, and we’re licensed through the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). Our classrooms are designed to feel like a calm little oasis: wooden tables, a soft comforting atmosphere, and seasonal artwork that shifts with holidays and the rhythm of the year—so the space feels familiar, grounded, and quietly magical. Our learning is play-based, inspired by Montessori and Reggio Emilia, and also guided by other child-development frameworks and parenting philosophies—because every family is different, and truly great care stays flexible, thoughtful, and responsive. We believe parents know their child best, so we lead with listening and then step in as partners: through real, ongoing conversations, transparency, and collaboration, we share what we’re noticing and support each child’s growth with kindness, clear boundaries, and confidence-building guidance. What makes Dreamers shine is our team—accredited early childhood professionals, many with ECE degrees—who don’t just supervise, but actively teach, lead, and advocate for children to have a bright, dreamy childhood. And because care includes culture, we serve home-cooked meals, including Ukrainian favorites that bring comfort and heritage to the table. Space is limited and enrollment depends on availability so we can protect what matters most: individualized care, meaningful relationships, and that Dreamers feeling families come to love.
